Cracking good Ideas for this Easter
Just a few must haves we thought we'd suggest for your Easter weekend.
From Easter Eggs hunts to Table centre pieces, we thought we would put together the things we are loving this Easter.
This delicious Simnel Cake is from M&S Food. If you don't have time to make one it's a perfect & quick option. Our favourite Simnel Cake recipe can be found on the BBC Food site.
A fun & quirky idea we'd seen somewhere through the Pinterest archives. A vase lined with carrots with Spring flowers in the top. We picked up the flowers & carrots, still with the stalks left on, from our local farm shop, Chatsworth Farm shop. However, most supermarkets such as Waitrose, Sainsbury's & M&S supply these things. We had to give this darling idea a go for the Kitchen table!
We also found these cute Egg hunt packs from M&S. The Egg hunt hessian bag is filled with chocolate eggs for you to hide out in the Garden. Then the bag can be used for the Children to collect their finds. M&S also do an Easter Egg Hunt pack, which includes dress-up bunny ears and cute signs to pop into the Garden to create the hunt. We've also picked up these little chocolates which look like carrots, which we thought were fun.
An Easter holiday break isn't complete without plenty of Tea, Hot cross buns & gorgeous Daffodils on your table. Daffodils immediately bring Spring to your table. These stunning Double Daffodils were from our local Farm Shop, but most supermarkets & florists sell them.
We are using the Easter Egg pack's for the Easter weekend with the family, so we'll share how we used them next week, along with how we spent our Easter Holiday. Have a wonderful Easter weekend Everyone. Happy Easter!
